Aqsa works across both curriculum development and programme delivery in her role as Programme Associate. Aqsa has worked in education since 2006. Prior to joining Facing History, she worked as a secondary school English teacher. Aqsa’s other roles have included that of Head of Department, an examiner, and coach and mentor to PGCE trainees, as well as working on strategies to integrate PSHE across the curriculum. Aqsa is a keen advocate for inclusive and representative learning, and believes that every child deserves to have access to a diverse curriculum. She has a BA in English Language and Literature from King’s College, London.
