Summer Professional Development for ELA Teachers

This summer, Facing History & Ourselves is providing English Language Arts teachers with a variety of professional development opportunities. Through these educational experiences, educators will have the chance to learn new teaching methods, explore topics in new ways, and have access to teaching materials based on our unique approach. These opportunities will help educators create a fair and student-centered learning environment.

ELA Workshops and Seminars

Learn new and effective ways to teach ELA by connecting with teachers from all over the globe in well-organized sessions. Our workshops and seminars can range from one to four days, and each day you will need to dedicate about four to five hours.

ELA Courses

Our ELA courses provide a deeper learning opportunity for educators. You'll reflect on the texts you teach and your approach to engaging your students in learning over the course of several one-hour modules.
