Classroom-ready resources to help students recognize and stand up to Contemporary Antisemitism

This professional learning opportunity will introduce Facing History’s resources for teaching about Holocaust and Human Behavior and then explore how antisemitic stereotypes and ideas from well before the Nazi era have been given new packaging and justification today. Blaming Jews for social ills and crises remains a convenient conspiracy theory when people in a community are experiencing fear and anxiety. This workshop will provide educators with resources that equip students to recognize contemporary manifestations of antisemitism and their origins.
Cost: FREE! Generously funded by the Holocaust and Social Justice Education Program of Chautauqua County.
Location: Lenna Hall, Chautauqua Institution
54 Palestine Ave, Chautauqua, NY 14757
