Planned Giving
Facing History and Ourselves' planned giving society was established to honor donors who make gifts in special ways. Its members are recognized for their support of Facing History through planned giving. The many vehicles of planned giving include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, and insurance programs. Making a gift through planned giving is a way of planning for Facing History's future along with your own.
Members of the Society, through their personal commitment, ensure that Facing History will be able to provide its citizenship education program to more students and teachers throughout the world for years to come. As a member of The Remembrance Society you will receive the following benefits:
- Satisfaction of helping develop civic responsibility in young people
- Potential income and estate benefits
- Invitations to events recognizing Remembrance Society members
- Listing in Facing History's annual report
We are happy to provide detailed planned giving information at your request. Harvey Burg, a partner at Perkins, Smith & Cohen, LLP, is available to talk with donors as they consider planned giving options.
If you would like to talk further with a member of Facing History's staff, please contact Pamela Hurd at (617) 735-1628 or via email.
